We’ve blogged many times before about how helpful social media can be for attracting followers to your website. Today, we’re giving you three tips for increasing your social media following so that you can engage those potential customers.

1. Post original content

Customers today know when you aren’t using original content. Unless you do not have the ability to produce your own photos, be sure to post original pictures and captions on your accounts. This applies throughout Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and beyond.

2. Post consistently

Hooray, you’ve created a social media account! Now, be sure that you are posting on a consistent basis. This can be daily, weekly or monthly, as long as you are doing it consistently. However, if you aren’t keen on posting, then be sure to comment and like others’ posts often.

3. Post at the right times

Usually, posting during the weekends during working hours never does as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. Be sure that you are choosing times that coincide with your target demographics’ free times. You will see more followers and likes if you start posting at the correct times throughout the day.
